Noa-Lynn van Leuven leads Group A after the opening day of action on Week 5 of the MODUS Super Series but only narrowly after a near flawless day for the Dutchwoman.

Van Leuven won four out of five after qualifying like Nick Crouwel who sits bottom through the ADC route. She started the day with a 4-0 win over Crouwel before narrowly losing to James Richardson 4-2.

But she reclaimed the impetus by edging out Stowe Buntz 4-3 followed by Fallon Sherrock by the same scoreline and also Devon Petersen 4-0. It is Buntz who sits second. Making his Super Series debut, he won three from five to sit on six points to set up a thrilling Day Two.

Fallon Sherrock and James Richardson both sit on four points. As does Petersen and Crouwel albeit with Sherrock and Richardson having vastly greater leg difference compared to those below.

The winner from Group A goes straight through to the final while the five that don't qualify go into Group B or C to face the remaining six players which are Paul Hogan, Terry Nash, Justin Hood in Group B and Thomas Lovely, Ricky King and Darren Armstrong in Group C.
