Gary Anderson will be part of the field for the UK Open and as a result will defend his title, it has been revealed.
Anderson has been out of action since the World Championship after seeking surgery for his back. This also ruled him out of the Premier League and despite fears he wouldn’t be back till the UK Open, he will be involved in Minehead.

- As prize money increases each year and there are now more tournaments then logically breaking the £2 million barrier is going to happen, only thing preventing it is the now deeper strength in depth of the darting field. If you took Taylor’s best two consecutive years and substituted the prize money from now onto the tournaments he won he would have passed the £2 million.Mysstree26-11-2024
