Aspinall ‘over the moon’ after continuing ground breaking World Championship run with win over Anderson

Nathan Aspinall moved through to the Last 16 of this years’ PDC World Darts Championship with a brilliant victory over Kyle Anderson.
The Stockport ace spoke afterwards saying that he is over the moon and living the dream after continuing his dream debut. "I'm over the moon," said 27-year-old Aspinall, who claimed his first PDC ranking title this year. "I think some of the top seeds might have underestimated us other players. We are all capable and anybody can beat anybody else on their day. - I dont like individuals or crowds trying to put any player off when they are trying to check out, how anyone can think its okay for the crowd to whistle or shout as someone is throwing for a double is beyond me but it does seem to have become part and parcel of the modern game. I no longer play now, darts is as good as dead at a local level round my way but when i did play many years ago, no matter how intense the rivalry you never shouted out or whistled when an opponent from the other team was throwing for a double.Mysstree17-11-2024
