Rob Cross has got through the second hurdle of his World Championship title defence with a straight sets win over Cristo Reyes.

Cross afterwards spoke about how good he felt on the stage with him adding that he was relaxed; also he believes that showed in the performance. "I felt really good up there," said Cross, who will face either Dimitri van den Bergh or Luke Humphries in the next round. "I think the ten days in between games helped me. I've felt relaxed and I was ready for this match and I think that showed in my performance. "It's a good start and I know if I can keep this up I've got every chance of going all the way again.” for more information about the PDC World Darts Championship, including schedules and the prize fund breakdown.
