Australia, Wales and Brazil safely through to round 2

The next winners are confirmed in Frankfurt with Brazil, Wales and Australia all moving through to the second round meaning that as of yet there have been no shocks in the World Cup.

Brazil continued on and reached the second round in the World Cup of Darts for the second year running. The team of Diogo Portela and Bruno Rangel showed some samba style; to overcome Denmark's pairing of Per Laursen and Henrik Primdal. They came through 5-1 and could play Scotland in the next round having put in a good performance.
Wales pairing of Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton who were teaming for the first time together in the competition; made a winning start to the tournament. They defeated Thailand 5-3 who put in a good performance to push the Welsh duo all the way and show the strength of darts all around the world.
Australia overcame Hong Kong with ease in a brilliant rout of 5-1 with Whitlock and Anderson teaming up for the first time and showing good chemistry. They could be a team to seriously watch out for in this years' World Cup of Darts.
