With Michael Barnard having already secured a two-year PDC Tour Card, one place remains up for grabs. Menzies, who burst onto the scene as a BDO entrant into the Grand Slam of Darts, in the Challenge Tour Order of Merit. Peterborough hosts the last four events of the season on November 10-11. The earnings there will decide who joins Barnard on the Pro Tour. Menzies has plenty of competition, but is still the front-runner to claim a precious Tour Card. The popular Scot told that it could be a definitive moment for him. "I've got a huge weekend coming up in Peterborough next month for the PDC Challenge Tour," Menzies said. "I'm currently second and if I have a good weekend in four events and stay second, I'm through. "However there's so many guys who can still steal my spot so it won’t be easy. I need to have a really good few results." Should he hold on to that spot, his PDC dream will be realised. 'Cammy' is fully aware of the impact that would have on his career. "That would be massive for me. To get a Tour Card could change my life overnight," enthused the former Scottish Open champion. "I'd then have to seriously look at going full-time because there’s so many Players and European Championships on the PDC circuit, almost every weekend. "It's pretty scary to think about going professional with darts. It's my dream and I want to do it but I have to keep pinching myself that it could actually happen."
