Chisnall speaks after comeback win over Payne: ‘I thought I was out’

Dave Chisnall came from the brink on Sunday afternoon to see off Josh Payne and move through to the third round at the PDC World Darts Championship.

Chisnall spoke afterwards and admitted he thought he was out but that he just had to believe and that’s what gave him the confidence to turn it around. "I thought I was out when he was two-nil up," admitted Chisnall. "I just had to believe that he wouldn't be able to keep playing as well as he was and I know that I get better the longer games go on.
