Colin Lloyd is a former World Number one and World Matchplay champion and now in his next phase in his career he has joined Red Dragon Darts.
Due to his retirement, Lloyd also known as Jaws, will be working more in the media and corporate side of the company but will still have his signature darts released later this year.
The Head of Marketing for Red Dragon Darts, Simon Hall spoke about the signing and how for him his character and passion still make him a great draw and that they are really excited to have him involved.
He said “Colin’s appeal and his direct interaction with well-versed darters who still associate him with the tour back when he made it as World No.1 still makes him a great draw. His character and passion for darts has never faded and we are really excited to be working with him as he builds his career away from the main Tour”.
Colin Lloyd said the following about joining the team: “I’ve travelled the world playing darts, making many friends and connections along the way and I’m so excited to join Red Dragon for the next phase of my career as their passion for the people who play darts matches mine.”
