Cross speaks after brilliant Vegas debut: “It was a decent start”

Rob Cross started his US Darts Masters campaign with a brilliant win over Ross Snook averaging 105 in a 6-1 win.
It is Cross’s debut outside of Europe and for him he says he was looking forward to it. ‘Voltage’ continued by saying he is happy at the moment and is playing well.
"It was a decent start and I've really been looking forward to this," said Cross, competing for the first time in Las Vegas. "I feel happy with myself at the moment and I'm playing well."

- Maybe the supposed top players are burnt out from the endless travelling and tournaments, I just don't think they have the dedication or outright desire to win. I think they are more interested in the money and being popular, just keeping their rankings steady. The only thing that mattered to Phil Taylor was winning, not winning a few games to top up the money pot and seeking the fans attention. Maybe there is too many tournaments now and the enthusiasm is gone. This year especially has seen so many different winners and unexpected draws and line ups.richieburnettrocks14-11-2024
