Jeffrey de Zwaan claimed his first PDC title yesterday at Players Championship 10 in Wigan. This like all recent new title holders has made a huge difference in rankings including the main Order of Merit.

'The Black Cobra' has rocketed up to 67th in the world meaning he has basically secured his tour card past the two year period. For De Zwaan he could easily surpass his ranking he accrued in two years before he had to go to Q-School showing his form; this has been done in 4 months.
Also rising up in the updated rankings is Jonny Clayton, it was another final for the Pontyberem ace who went so close to claiming a second title in as many weekends. This means that he is now closing in on a position in the world's top 20.
A faller ranking wise though is Benito van de Pas; formally touted for the Premier League he has suffered a slump in form in the past year and as a result could fall out of the world's top 16 if he doesn't qualify for European Tour 5. He will be replaced by Darren Webster. Also he could fall further with Joe Cullen only just behind.
