Mervyn King GDO18

The top half of the draw at the German Darts Open 2018 is complete with Mervyn King and Michael Smith joining Michael van Gerwen and Ian White in tonight's Quarter-Finals in Saarbrucken.

For King he mounted a superb comeback to slay 'Superchin'. He came from 4-1 down to take 88 on the bull to claim a 6-5 victory over the Premier League star. He will face Michael Smith this evening.
The 'Bully Boy' eased safely through with a 100 average in the second highest average of the session so far to defeat Jelle Klaasen. It wasn't Smith at his vintage best but it was enough for the St Helens ace.
