Jamie Lewis secured his progression through to round three at the PDC World Darts Championship but it should have been easier for the Welshman.

He was two-nil up in sets and seemingly cruising but Harris came back which forced Lewis to dig deep. Afterwards he spoke and he admitted that he was just happy to get over the line and despite that close shave, he believes he can go on another run this year. "I started off well, went two sets up and felt like I was cruising but then things started to go wrong for me," said Lewis, who fired in nine 180s. "I was just happy to get over the line in the end. I just need to be more consistent now and there's no reason I can't go on another big run here." for more information about the PDC World Darts Championship, including schedules and the prize fund breakdown.
