The World Cup of Darts 2019 will take place from 6-9 June in Hamburg. Dartsnews introduces the competing nations ahead of the start of the event.
We are paying attention to Belgium and Austria, two of the seeded teams in Germany. Both nations have been part of the
World Cup of Darts since the inaugural event in 2010.
Belgium
Kim Huybrechts is one of the best players in the history of the World Cup of Darts. He's part of the Belgian team since 2012 and never lost before the quarter-finals. He reached the final in 2013 with his brother Ronny Huybrechts, where they suffered a 3-1 defeat to England.
'The Hurricane' also teamed up with Ronny in the next four years and reached one quarter-final and three consecutive semi-finals.
Dimitri van den Bergh took Ronny's place in 2018 and also moved into the semi-finals with Kim Huybrechts.
