Dimitri van den Bergh has reached the quarter-finals at the Grand Slam of Darts. The Belgian hit a nine-dart finish en route to a 10-6 victory over Stephen Bunting.

The first eight legs went on throw, before Van den Bergh hit a 14-dart leg to break Bunting. 'The Dreammaker' also held his own leg after a poor leg tenth leg from 'The Bullet'.
Van den Bergh looked more focused after break and immediately forced two more chances to break Bunting. However the St. Helens ace managed to hold this throw twice and reduced the deficit to 6-7 in the 13th leg.
The Belgian ace hit a 15-dart leg in his own leg and kicked off the 15th leg with two maximum scores. It was a third time luck for 'The Dreammaker' as he hit a stunning 141 finish to hit a nine-dart finish and break Bunting again. The former Lakeside champion then missed six opportunities to stay in the match and Van den Bergh hit double 16 to win the match.
