Peter Wright tops the seasonal Order of Merit which shows the form of the now World Number 2 who has won 11 tournaments this year only one of 3 men to do so in the history of the PDC with only Michael van Gerwen and Phil Taylor also doing so in the past.
Wright though is being closed in by one of those two with Michael van Gerwen with another Major tournament win closing in on 'Snakebite'. Rob Cross is number 4 which underlines his brilliant year and if he doesn't get into the Premier League next year he will be the first player never to get in to the formation of darts' elite who have finished in the top four of the seasonal Order of Merit.
Stephen Bunting is 25th which shows his return to form as of late and 3 non-tour card holders also formulate the top 48 with Krzysztof Ratajski, Zoran Lerchbacher and Peter Jacques part of it who despite being non tour card holders will all be playing at Alexandra Palace at the end of the year.
