The BDO Luxembourg Open and the Luxembourg Masters is the next event on their calendar and will be held from the 27th to the 29th of July 2018.
On Friday there will be a men pairs and ladies pairs tournament and on Saturday and Sunday a men, ladies and youth singles tournament. The singles tournament on Sunday (Luxembourg Open) is a BDO ranked Cat. B for men a BDO ranked Cat. C for ladies. The singles tournament on Saturday (Luxembourg Masters) is a BDO ranked Cat. B for men a BDO ranked Cat. C for ladies. In terms of prize money in terms of the men, 1800 euros are up for grabs for the winner with 800 for the runner up. Ladies wise, 600 euros is claimed by the winner with 250 by the runner up. Boys get 100 for winning and girls 50. Men’s pairs get 400 and ladies get half at 200.

- As prize money increases each year and there are now more tournaments then logically breaking the £2 million barrier is going to happen, only thing preventing it is the now deeper strength in depth of the darting field. If you took Taylor’s best two consecutive years and substituted the prize money from now onto the tournaments he won he would have passed the £2 million.Mysstree26-11-2024
