Q. You have a tricky test to start your Lakeside campaign speaking of that taking on Kyle McKinstry, what do you make of that draw and competing at Lakeside once again??
'It will be a tough game against Kyle. He’s a very good player. I’ll think we are at the same level. Who is having the best day - wins!'
Q. Going into Lakeside what are your thoughts on your form this year and do you believe you have a good chance of potentially winning??
'I had a good year and made some good results (winning the German Open). Every year I get higher on the rankings. I feel more experienced every year. And If I have a good week anything can Happen - You’ve seen it at the European Cup last year!'
Q. A lot is made of the PDC/BDO divide, have you ever had any thoughts on switching to the PDC and trying Q-School especially with the addition of the European one next year??
'It’s all about sponsors if you want to go to play PDC. It’s very expensive. Maybe if I play a bad Lakeside I will try Q-school because there is maybe a sponsor!!'
Q. Finally to end the interview off, what would you say are your ambitions to end the year and going into 2018 and beyond??
'I want to wish everybody a safe and Healthy 2018!! May the darts be with You...'
