The seedings for the next BDO double header in the form of the Welsh Classic and Welsh Open have been revealed with Richard Veenstra, the number one seed in both events.
Veenstra is ahead of Jim Williams and Wesley Harms in second and third with Scott Mitchell and Dave Parletti completing the top five in the Welsh Classic.
It is the same in the second event in the form of the Welsh Open for the top players. In terms of the ladies, Lisa Ashton will be top seed for both events but they differ in terms of the amount of seeded players.
In the Welsh Classic there are only eight seeds which start with Ashton and end with Casey Gallagher. Open wise there are sixteen with the likes of Sharon Prins and Corrine Hammond added to the seeds.
The action gets underway on Friday with the Welsh Classic and then on Sunday the Welsh Open will take place in Prestatyn,

- It is simply not true to say that these 5 players are guaranteed to keep their Tour Cards. At least Karel Sedlacek, Dylan Slavin and Stephen Burton are in danger of losing them, especially if they fail to win their first round match.
