Justin van Tergouw retained his BDO World Youth Championship title on Thursday afternoon. The Dutchman defeated Killian Heffernan 3-1 in sets.
The 17-year-old from Utrecht impressed with hitting two big finishes. Van Tergouw hit a 170 check-out in the first set, but went on to lose the first set. However, 'JvT' bounced back with winning nine legs in a row with ending the match with a stunning 132 finish.

- As prize money increases each year and there are now more tournaments then logically breaking the £2 million barrier is going to happen, only thing preventing it is the now deeper strength in depth of the darting field. If you took Taylor’s best two consecutive years and substituted the prize money from now onto the tournaments he won he would have passed the £2 million.Mysstree26-11-2024
