Fallon Sherrock and Alan Soutar were in the winners circle this past Sunday at the BDO Helvetia Open which took place in Switzerland as part of a double header which also included the BDO Swiss Open.
Sherrock saw off Kirsty Hutchinson (4-0), Sharon Prins (4-1) and finally Laura Turner in a hard fought 4-3 win to claim another title to add to her tally for this year.
Soutar on the other hand saw off Craig Venman, Jitse van de Wal and finally Thomas Junghans who of course claimed the title on Saturday and as a result is in good form.
There was also further good runs for the likes of Dennis Olde Kalter and Francis Carragher both of whom starred in the Swiss Open alongside Junghans.

- As prize money increases each year and there are now more tournaments then logically breaking the £2 million barrier is going to happen, only thing preventing it is the now deeper strength in depth of the darting field. If you took Taylor’s best two consecutive years and substituted the prize money from now onto the tournaments he won he would have passed the £2 million.Mysstree26-11-2024
