Kevin McDine claimed the inaugural edition of the St Helens Darts Classic which was held at the St Helens Hotel this past weekend.
The event was ran by former Lakeside champion Stephen Bunting with the prize fund being £1000 for the winner and the runner-up claiming £500.
McDine, who was
banned for two years from competing in professional darts in 2017, saw off multiple big names including Dave Chisnall, James Richardson, Ryan Joyce and finally Mark McGeeney with all four being
PDC Tour Card holders.
