Mensur Suljovic was first through in last night (Friday)’s second lot of Quarter-Finals with the Austrian who was seen as a good outside bet going into the tournament showing why a series he saw off Darren Webster.

They were neck and neck for most of the contest but when it mattered most Suljovic found a second gear to streak ahead and win 16-10.
‘The Gentle’ spoke afterwards and admitted that it’s a good feeling to reach the semi-finals and that his son was extra happy he won.
"It's a good feeling and I'm so happy," said Suljovic.
"My game wasn't the best today but I never gave up. Darren is such a good player and it was a very hard match.
"I promised my son a new pair of trainers if I won so he was going crazy!"
