Michael van Gerwen hit a nine darter last night in the first one in five years on the European Tour with him taking out the T19 to ensure it was an easier shot and he delivered.
Van Gerwen spoke afterwards and said it was a special moment but the five years it took was too long.
"It's a special moment for me and this crowd," said Van Gerwen.
"Nine-darters are always fantastic but it's been a long time on the European Tour - five years is too long!"
