The Grand Slam of Darts has had some wonderful moments over the years, including some moments of perfection. A nine darter is the holy grail darts, and never fails to get the crowd in attendance out of their seats.
Since the conception of the Grand Slam of Darts in 2007, six players have managed to throw out a leg in nine darts at this tournament. Dartsnews.com has listed these six down below, where you can also watch and rewatch every nine darter in Grand Slam history.

James Wade (2008)

The first nine-darter in the history of the Grand Slam of Darts was thrown by James Wade in 2008 in his second round match against Gary Anderson. Wade's performance was exceptional not only because of the perfect leg itself, but also because it took place at a time when nine-darters were much less frequent than they are today.

Kim Huybrechts (2014)

Another historic nine-darter took place in 2014, thrown by Belgian darter Kim Huybrechts. 'The Hurricane' played perhaps the match of his life against Michael van Gerwen. Thanks to a nine-darter and an average of 104.83, Huybrechts won 16-10 over the mighty Dutchman.

Dave Chisnall (2015)

A year later, perfection was struck again at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall. In 2015, it was Dave Chisnall who delivered a perfect leg in his duel against Peter Wright at the Grand Slam of Darts. Moreover, it was the first time a nine-darter was thrown in the group stage of this tournament. The nine darter also earned 'Chizzy' a nice extra, because throwing a perfect leg during this tournament at the time, carried a bonus of no less than £30,000.

Dimitri van den Bergh (2018)

In 2018, there was another Belgian who produced a nine-darter at the Grand Slam of Darts. This time it was Dimitri van den Bergh who managed to throw out a leg in the shortest possible way in his match against Stephen Bunting. Like Chisnall, 'The Dreammaker' also kept a nice amount of money from his perfect leg. It earned him an extra 25,000 pounds in prize money.

Josh Rock (2022)

After three nine-darters in five editions, the 2019, 2020 and 2021 editions did not feature any nine-darters at the Grand Slam of Darts. In 2022, Josh Rock ended the long wait by throwing one. For the second time, it was Michael van Gerwen who faced one at this tournament. Remarkably, Rock injured himself while celebrating his moment of magic and limped for the rest of the match.

Ryan Searle (2023)

In 2023, it was hit again at the Grand Slam of Darts. Ryan Searle signed on for a perfect leg in his group match against Nathan Rafferty. Moreover, the nine-darter came at an important moment for Heavy Metal. Searle and Rafferty played a decider to determine who would advance to the knockout stage. When the score was 4-3, Searle produced his nine-darter to win the match 5-3 and thus continue in the tournament.
