Darren Webster did not enjoy the best of times in Barnsley last weekend.

The diminutive Norwich ace was visiting to participate in Players Championship 7 and 8. After falling to a 6-5 defeat to Max Hopp in the last 32 of the former event, Darren Webster headed back to his hotel. On his way there, the Demolition Man was greeted by a pair of Barnsley fans, celebrating the Tykes' 3-2 win over South Yorkshire rivals Sheffield United.
The world number 19 required a hospital visit after being headbutted by one of the assailants. Webster went on to play in Players Championship 8 on Sunday. However, he fell to Robert Marijanovic at the first hurdle. His Saturday afternoon tussle has made the headlines over in Barnsley. The Barnsley Chronicle led with the headline 'Welcome to Barnsley', featuring a report and an image of Webster's busted nose.
