White came through in a 7-5 victory against ‘Voltage’ as he aims to claim a second
European Tour title.
In terms of statistics, he hit a 98.5 average and 53 percent on the doubles on the way to a big victory.
Cross began leading the tie 3-2 but it was one way traffic of sorts when the Stoke ace gained the lead at 4-3 up.
He went 5-3 up to hit three consecutive legs in a row and when Cross came back, ‘Diamond’ extended his lead.
This was to the point of 6-5 when White then claimed a 7-5 victory.
