Whitlock to face Smith and Klaasen will face MVG in Mannheim

Simon Whitlock continued the afternoon session by dispatching Nathan Aspinall 6-3 to reach the Quarter Finals. The Wizard averaged 96 and came from 2-1 behind to claim the victory.
Michael Smith will face The Wizard after once again defeating Joe Cullen this time by 6 legs to 1. The St Helens native despite averaging only 89 coasted through the match to reach another Quarter-Final.
Jelle Klaasen returned to form after his injury easily brushing past Kyle Anderson 6-1 like in the Smith vs Cullen match and will play the winner of Michael van Gerwen and Gerwyn Price.
Michael Van Gerwen inflicted a tenth straight defeat on Gerwyn Price defeating him 6-2 with a 98 average! Gerwyn could have got close to the World Number 1 but couldn't hit doubles and paid for it and now MVG will face Jelle Klaasen tonight.
