The new World Series of Darts season could not have wished for a better start. No less than 20,000 people will watch the second edition of the German Darts Masters live on Friday 25 May.

The World Series of Darts 2018 has at least three debutants, while three new cities are visited. In addition to Gelsenkirchen, the World Series makes a stop in Vienna and Brisbane for the first time. Rob Cross, Dimitri van den Bergh and Jamie Lewis are the new names on the circuit this year.
After the tournament in Gelsenkirchen, from 5 to 7 July the second edition of the US Darts Masters will be played. A week later the Shanghai Darts Masters is next up. In August, the annual visit to Oceania takes place with 3 tournaments. These events will be completed in succession in Auckland, Melbourne and Brisbane.
The final weekend will then be held in Vienna, where the eight best players of the World Series of Darts 2018 qualify. The field of participants for the World Series of Darts Finals will be expanded with sixteen invitations and qualifiers.
