Holtkamp stands out with bad behaviour during national competition and receives suspension

German Ole Holtkamp stood out in recent months for his good performance on the Challenge Tour. Now he is in the spotlight because of very different things.

During the German Masters on Saturday, Holtkamp insulted his opponent, which could also be heard on the livestream, German journalist Kevin Barth reported. In addition, Holtkamp allegedly disturbed his opponent several times while the person was throwing his darts.

It now appears that the German has been banned from national tournaments for unsportsmanlike conduct. Whether the PDC will follow suit and whether Holtkamp will be allowed to play on the Challenge Tour is not yet clear.

The next tournaments of this circuit will take place from 11 to 13 August.
