Jenkins has no regrets on darting retirement: "I was getting too tired with it all"

Terry Jenkins recently made a darting comeback of sorts playing in the Online Darts League ahead of the World Seniors.

But for Jenkins, he admitted it had been that long since he last played that he couldn't find his darts initially.

"I hadn't been able to find my darts for 12 months and my missus found them the other day in a suitcase from when we came back from Bahrain in March last year," said Jenkins to Online Darts.

Retiring too early?

His form was good in spells so it was asked about whether he retired a bit too early but for Jenkins, he said it came down to age and when he had his success.

"I wouldn't have retired if I was younger when it all happened for me. I was 38 when I joined the PDC and if I'd have been in my 20's, I'd have played another 10 or so years but I was getting too tired with it all,"

World Seniors

Looking ahead to the World Seniors, 'The Bull' continued that he will be getting on the board to prepare himself for that.

"I will put some practice in for that, I'm going to start practicing properly for that. I'm going to try and do well if I can."

"I've just got to get my consistency back. The scoring is there in spells but I'm not consistent enough with it and that's what I've got to practice at."
