Per Laursen will miss out on the World Cup of Darts for the first time in his career next month as he loses his ever present record as one of only six players to have competed in the last ten editions of the tournament.
The selections for the Scandiavian tournaments are distributed through PDC NB tournaments in Iceland and Laursen has not entered therefore foregoing his chance to qualify.
There hasn't been much success in the past for Laursen in the tournament as he has reached the last sixteen in 2012 and 2016 but it will be a potentially new look team for Denmark in Jena.

Per Laursen has decided not to go to Iceland for the PDC Nordic & Baltic events later this month. Therefore he won't qualify for the Nordic Darts Masters or the PDC World Cup. It will be the first time ever, that Laursen will not be playing at the World Cup.
