John Walton and Wayne Warren are the next two players to have accepted their invitation to participate in the World Seniors Darts Championship in 2022,
Both players were invited as former BDO World Champions with Jason Francis revealing the news as an exclusive initially on this week's Weekly Dartscast before the World Seniors social media confirmed it themselves.
Walton won Lakeside back in 2001 and has been seen over the last year in the Remote Darts League, while Warren won the last BDO World Championship in 2020 and is the current MAD World Champion.
Ten players have now confirmed their participation. Phil Taylor, Martin Adams, Ted Hankey, Keith Deller, Bob Anderson, John Lowe and Dennis Priestley have been previously announced.
The line-up will be completed in the near future. In addition, two more places will be made available during a qualifying tournament in November this year. The winner will receive of the overall title will receive £25,000.
