Adams won with a maximum haul of 10 points defeating Scott Marsh (5-2), Fallon Sherrock (5-2), Dave Parletti (5-0), Jarred Cole (5-4) and Boris Koltsov (5-3) - with the final match seeing him only needing to claim three legs to win the day.

Jarred Cole led proceedings in the latter half of the day taking over from Adams but a 5-4 win over him basically sealed it for the three-time World Champion. Boris Koltsov finished third having suffered two defeats to end his day after being unbeaten.

The same went for Fallon Sherrock who started off with back-to-back wins but lost three in a row. While Dave Parletti claimed a solitary win on debut with Scott Marsh losing all five on his return to the Icons of Darts League.

There will be 15 games a day which will be best of 7 legs with two Pools set to be involved as usual. It begins everyday as a result at 10:30 am running till 5:00 pm and sees live action continue.

The scores are recorded during matches via a webcam with this then uploaded to various scoring services and bookmakers who are all showing the action. The livestream is provided by organiser MODUS .
