Another withdrawal for Cadby and Perez, both out of 2023 UK Open as Pallett replaced by Wenig in Challenge Tour qualifiers

With the field now set for the UK Open, 126 Tour Card holders have entered the field in Minehead with two glaring absences again as more doubts swell already only two months into the season.

Corey Cadby returned to the PDC Tour with much fanfare but the Aussie ace seemingly has visa issues which prevent him from entering the UK meaning he has yet to play in either double header of Players Championship.

As well as this weekend in a tournament where he reached the final five years ago with two players now set to receive byes.

While for Christian Perez, similarly he has yet to play any PDC darts this season with many making comparisons to Royden Lam who won a Tour Card on multiple occasions but never made it to the UK to play.

David Pallett is also not involved this weekend. He has withdrawn meaning Lukas Wenig will take his spot as the next player along on the Challenge Tour Order of Merit not yet qualified.
