Lisa Ashton has her first win on TV as a PDC Tour Card holder with victory over Aaron Beeney in the third match on the Main Stage at the UK Open.
It is also a slice of history for Ashton who becomes the first woman to win a match at the UK Open since Deta Hedman back in 2005.
'The Lancashire Rose' performed excellently averaging 100.3 with four 180's to defeat Beeney in a 6-2 win.
This in turn broke her own record from the 2016 World Trophy for highest recorded average from a female player on TV.
Darius Labanauskas now awaits for the multiple World Champion as she aims to continue her form from a Round Two victory over Beeney and potentially take her place among the top 32 later this evening.
