Aspinall completes first part of Premier League Darts play-off mission, Price condemns Wright to bottom of table

Nathan Aspinall will face Gerwyn Price in the first part of his Premier League Darts play-off mission in Aberdeen after seeing off his closest rival, Jonny Clayton.

Aspinall produced an incredible display to see off Clayton 6-1 with four 180's and a 103 average, with Clayton's only flourish being a 160 checkout. He now needs to beat Price and reach the final to qualify for the O2 next week.

Price though who will look to finish top was in no mood to hand out gifts against Peter Wright.

He made sure Wright finished bottom of this year's table with a 6-2 win taking out 129 to take it with a 103 average and 50% on the doubles. A poor season ends for 'Snakebite', while 'The Iceman' continues his incredible form.
