Aspinall finishes narrowly ahead of Van Gerwen in top averages at PDC Super Series 7

Aspinall recorded an average of 113.60 on the opening day in his tie against Keegan Brown which he went onto lose. In this tie, he also hit a nine-darter.
On the third day of PDC Super Series 7, Michael van Gerwen was close to Aspinall's average, but it was only at 113.48.
Rob Cross (111.00), Adrian Lewis (110.80) and Ross Smith (110.68) were the only other players to average over 110+.
Van Gerwen, Cross and Smith frequently appear in the list of highest averages during the PDC Super Series 7.
Smith also recorded averages of 107.88 and 106.54. Cross continued to reach averages of 107.41 and 107.36. In addition to his 113.48 average, Van Gerwen also threw averages of 107.36, 107.28, 107.10 and 106.78.
