As part of the PDC’s Premier League Memories, Nathan Aspinall recounted not only his run to the final but his debut display against John Henderson in Aberdeen.
“My greatest memory of the Premier League so far has got to be reaching in my debut year. Obviously beating Peter (Wright), the World Champion in the semi-final and making it all the way to the final,” said Aspinall.
“To play John (Henderson) in Aberdeen and with that crowd was unreal. To walk out for the very first time as a Premier League player, hairs on my arms were standing up and what a night it was.”
