Glen Durrant became Premier League champion last year in and around the height of the Coronavirus pandemic leading from the front in his debut year.
Ahead of this years tournament kicking off in a matter of weeks, he recounted his memories of winning the title.
“The thoughts of the final are nothing but fantastic things but the thoughts of a semi-final was anything but that. It’s the first time I’ve ever bottled it and I got up there and I genuinely couldn’t feel my legs,” said Durrant.
“Maybe felt a bit cheated to hold that trophy in front of 12,000 people at the O2 but it’s what we play darts for and winning the Premier League was just sensational.”
