Beau Greaves reaches semi-finals of PDC Development Tour 16 as Wessel Nijman seals another title

Wessel Nijman has claimed a third PDC Development Tour title of the season in the 16th tournament as Beau Greaves starred again with a semi-final run.

Nijman defeated Tavis Dudeney 5-4 in the final averaging 97 with the Dutch Tour Card Holder also defeating Greaves in the semi-finals. The two-time Women's World Matchplay winner averaged seven points more than Nijman hitting 98 but still lost 5-2. She had seen off Bram van Dijk and Danny Jansen in prior rounds. Most of the day she hovered around the 85-87 average mark.

Albeit again it was mostly well known names such as Keane Barry, Nathan Rafferty and Owen Roelofs sealing wins throughout the day and in the end Nijman bucked that trend with another title.

The PDC Development Tour circuit consists of 24 tournaments. At each Development Tour tournament there is a prize pool of 15,000 pounds to be distributed.

With the prize money, a ranking is established. At the end of the season, the numbers one and two receive an invitation to the PDC World Darts Championship plus a Tour Card for 2025 and 2026. The winner of the ranking also gets to compete in the Grand Slam of Darts.
