Bradley Brooks is the winner of the 2020 PDC World Youth Championship after a tense deciding leg victory over Joe Davis 6-5.
Brooks is a current Tour Card holder and at times showed his experience of playing on the ProTour in recent years.
'Bamm Bamm' as well as claiming the title and £10,000 will also make his PDC World Championship debut next month as a result of winning.
Davis played well in the opening leg and claimed it before Brooks finished 104 to make it 1-1. Brooks went into the ascendancy and was well ahead on Davis’ throw leaving 52 for a 2-1 lead.
But the Brighton thrower came straight back pinning a 58 checkout for 2-2. Brooks missed one dart at a double and Davis stepped in for double 16 for a 3-2 lead.
A 98 set up left 40 for Davis but it was his turn to miss darts at double as Brooks pinned 54 to make it 3-3 and hold. Davis had a chance to keep it on throw at 36 and Brooks pinned 56 last dart in hand to break and make it 4-3.
Neither could pin the double but Davis finally got it right breaking back to make it 4-4. He hit a 135 to leave 91 to go one away himself and got that down to 40 with Brooks needing a 170. Davis went back in front as a result at 5-4.
Brooks sent it all the way though at 5-5. Both were feeling the pressure with a nervy end to the final but Davis couldn't leave a finish.
Brooks had six at 132 and a first match dart at 72 came and went.
But Davis couldn't produce a 103 and Brooks pinned double 20 to claim victory in the final.
