Dave Chisnall managed to throw the highest average at Players Championship 8 on Monday. 'Chizzy' recorded an average of 117.41 in his first round against Kevin Burness.
He threw two 11-darters and a 12-darter in his match against Burness, among others. His average was also the second highest average of the PDC season. The highest average is still in the name of Luke Humphries with 119.15.
Gary Anderson provided the second highest average of the tournament with 110.50 (in his quarter-final against Dimitri van den Bergh). Behind that followed Krzysztof Ratajski (109.74 and 107.80) and Steve Lennon (109.68), among others.
