Target extends contract with World Seniors Darts Tour to end 2024

Darts manufacturer Target and the World Seniors Darts Tour have extended their contract through the end of 2024.

As part of the extension, Target Darts, which was there from the start in 2022, will remain the official dartboard of the World Seniors Darts Tour. Matches will be played on the revolutionary Aspar darts board.

Target's commitment to the World Seniors Darts Tour has been further strengthened with the sponsorship of the World Seniors Open Series, with 4 pairs of events this season to be called the Target Open Series. Any player over the age of 50 and not in possession of a Tour Card can participate.

Billy Lovell of World Seniors Darts Tour said: “Since day one, having a globally recognised darting brand like Target as a tour partner has been massive for the World Seniors Darts Tour. Their support has been a key part of our growth in such a short space of time, and we’re very excited for this next step in our partnership.”

“With the addition of the Open Series Sponsorship this is an extra step in supporting all of our tour members as we continue to strive for growth as the home of darts for over 50’s.”

James Tattersall, Managing Director of Target Darts added: “We’re delighted to extend our partnership with the World Seniors Darts Tour. We have already had a great couple of years working with the WSDT, and are delighted to be on board with such a fast growing darting project”

“The World Seniors has captured the imagination of such a wide audience, and we can’t wait to see where we go next on this journey”
