After Michael van Gerwen set up a meeting with Dave Chisnall, the second semi-final is confirmed at the
Dutch Darts Championship as
Luke Humphries will face
Damon Heta shortly.
Humphries denied home hero Danny Noppert in a close 6-5 win for 'Cool Hand Luke' in the battle of the ice cold monikers as he saw off 'The Freeze'.
In the decider, he kicked off 121, 134, 136 in a row to leave 71. He initially missed a match dart and Noppert went onto miss one himself before he took out double eight last dart in hand for the win. In the victory, it was six 180's and a 102.4 average.
Next up is Heta who sealed a 6-2 win in style over Stephen Bunting denying 'The Bullet' with a 98 average.
But his best part was a classy 160 checkout to seal the win in what was the 5,000th game on the
European Tour. What a way to mark it.
