Cross gives thoughts on final defeat to Price in Riesa: ‘He played better and deserved to win’

Rob Cross was edged out in the final of the International Darts Open in Riesa against Gerwyn Price and ‘Voltage’ was gracious in defeat.

Cross admitted that Price deserved to win; as well as that he can’t seem to get over it the winning line on long days of darts.

Despite that though he spoke about how much he enjoyed his weekend reaching another European Tour final.

"Fair play to Gezzy there, he played better and deserved to win," said Cross.

"I come to the long days and I can't seem to get over that winning line, but I've enjoyed my weekend. It's been fantastic."
