Joe Cullen edged past Adam Hunt with a brilliant 164 checkout to claim it after both players produced a brilliant spell of finishing at the Grand Slam of Darts.
Cullen spoke afterwards about playing with a new set of darts and also how he is going to spend his day off in the bubble.
"I don't think Adam started great neither, I think we were sort of dragging each other down and then we brought each other along at the end of the game so it's all about grinding the result out and I got the result so that's all that matters," said Cullen post match.
"If you have a bad start with a new set of darts, it can maybe play on your mind a little bit and you might start to question things but I played well all week and managed to get the title on the last day so everything's good."
"I spoke to the lads who have been here most of the years like Webby (Mark Webster) and they say you get a great day off. What you going to do in lockdown, you can't even go out for something nice to eat you have to collect it in a bag. I might give Michael Smith another lesson at table tennis'', he told Online Darts.
