Ryan Joyce saw off Mikuru Suzuki on the second night of action at the Grand Slam of Darts to set up a clash with Gerwyn Price as he looks to move through in Coventry.
It is a game that Joyce is looking forward to and he also revealed ambitions of a potential top ten spot in the future.
"I'm happy to win that game definitely. It was a very different game tonight, I felt a lot more nervous tonight," said Joyce post match.
Relentless will face Price in his last match and might have to beat him to reach the second round. "I've played him a lot on the ProTour and there's only been the odd leg here and there and I played really well against him last time and beat him 6-1."
"I feel like I'm getting better each year. Hopefully one day I might make it to the top ten in the world."
