PDC commentators Dan Dawson and Chris Murphy faced off in the first edition of the Premier Inn League since their 2019 Grand Final which was won by the latter to fill the void left by the Premier League in Newcastle being cancelled.
It was also the first remotely contested version of their matches which are usually played of course in person and you could follow it live as a result on DartConnect.
The level between the two wasn't very high but this caused more suspense on social media as the duo faced off.
Murphy took the lead with a 34 darter. Later on it became 4-2 with a 49 darter but Dawson replied with a 27 darter in the best leg of the game to make it 4-4.
Murphy reached 5-4 on was on the brink but two 20 checkouts, the latter can be seen below from Dawson saw him claim it.
In terms of averages both finished just below 41 with no 180's but one 140 from Dawson while Murphy hit two treble 20's at one point but his darts fell out of the board.
