Dave Chisnall has been a fixture in the PDC for many years.
Luke Littler is a newer name amongst the darts elite, but 'Chizzy' has been aware of the teen for a long while.
"I've known Luke for a long time, my brother said to me 'you should sponsor him', when he was 12," recalled Chisnall whilst playing at the Masters over the weekend, where he made the quarter-finals before losing out to Michael van Gerwen "I said 'Nah, I'm all for myself, I want to concentrate on my own career.'"
"But fair play to Luke, you know, he's a special player, but we can all do what he does," the 43-year-old Englishman continued. "So, yeah, I'm not worried!"
Last weekend, Littler was not at the Masters. Chisnall did appear in action there, but, as mentioned went down 10-4 in the quarterfinals against Michael van Gerwen, who in turn, lost in the final, to Stephen Bunting.
