De Sousa on potentially beating Premier League 180 record: "All the things that surround me, I don't care"

Jose de Sousa lost out on victory against James Wade who came from the brink to draw with 'The Special One' but despite that, he sits on leg difference in the top four.

He hit 10 180's against Wade and will claim a Premier League Darts record for maximums with 10 more with a quarter of the nights left.

"All this is new for me. I don't search statistics of the games. Who hits more 180's, who wins more games in 10 darts, 11 darts, 12 darts. I don't care," said De Sousa to Unibet.

"I come up and play my game and that's what it is. I hit a 180's I know I can do that but I don't care if I hit more 180's in the history of the Premier League."

"I just want to play my game. All the things that surround me, I don't care."
